Key Responsibilities\n

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our mental health counselors work closely with a diverse range of patients, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. You will engage with patients from various backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic approaches to accommodate their unique circumstances and cultural considerations. Your ability to build rapport and trust will be crucial in promoting patient engagement and collaboration throughout the therapeutic process.

Qualifications\n

• A current state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or licensed psychologist.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a similar mental health-related field is required; advanced degrees are preferred.

• A strong understanding of the complexities and mental health issues often experienced by hospital patients and community members.
