Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed and comprehensive assessments to evaluate client symptoms related to mood disorders, taking into account their history and personal circumstances.

• Collaborate with clients to create customized treatment plans that align with their individual goals, preferences, and needs, incorporating a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.

• Implement evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adapting approaches to fit client circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families on treatment methodologies, mental health issues, and strategies that can enhance their overall well-being and self-management.

• Regularly monitor patient progress, making data-driven adjustments to treatment plans as required to respond to their evolving needs.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals to provide integrated, multifaceted care that comprehensively addresses all aspects of a client’s mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related disorders. Our diverse clientele ranges from young adults to seniors, each facing unique challenges. Your empathetic approach will be essential in creating a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and work towards their recovery goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Psychologist, or Licensed Psychoanalyst.

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based treatment techniques for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT methodologies.

• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and experience working collaboratively with psychiatrists to optimize patient care.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
