Company Description Einbinder, Dunn, Dimitri & Bayer LLP is a New York-based law firm concentrating its practice in franchise law, business law, commercial litigation, and real estate law. The firm represents clients across many sectors, from major industry leaders to emerging entrepreneurs, and handles complex litigation matters and significant corporate and real estate transactions.

Role Description The position is hybrid, two days a week working from home and three days a week on-site in New York, NY. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents; managing discovery; conducting legal research; reviewing and analyzing case files and evidence; and assisting with strategy development for commercial litigation matters. The role involves communicating with clients, opposing counsel, and courts; preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and conferences; and supporting senior attorneys in trial preparation and courtroom proceedings. The associate will collaborate with colleagues across practice areas, manage deadlines, and contribute to efficient case management and high-quality client service.

Qualifications

• At least four years of complex commercial litigation experience. We are not considering candidates with less than four years of relevant experience at this time.
• Knowledge of Litigation procedure, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and trial preparation in federal courts and New York State courts.
• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and admission (or eligibility for admission) to the New York State Bar.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills, with attention to detail and organization.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, work collaboratively in a team environment, and communicate clearly with clients and colleagues.
