Key Responsibilities\nConduct in-depth assessments and screenings to accurately gauge patient mental health status, utilizing tools such as standardized evaluation scales and clinical interviews.
Deliver personalized individual counseling sessions through our telehealth platform, addressing a variety of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress management.
Facilitate dynamic therapy groups and workshops aimed at fostering mental resilience and encouraging personal development in an interactive online format.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, psychiatrists, and primary care physicians, to create integrated treatment plans that support overall patient well-being.
Engage in community outreach efforts, promoting mental health awareness and preventive initiatives, such as webinars and public health campaigns.
Ensure meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in compliance with ethical and legal standards, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
You will primarily work with a diverse population, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. Many patients may face unique challenges related to their mental health, including those dealing with chronic illness or significant life transitions. Your expertise will help empower these individuals to navigate their mental health journeys and achieve their personal treatment goals.
Qualifications\nA valid state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Psychologist.
A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required.
Substantial understanding of the mental health challenges commonly observed in hospital settings, along with a strong foundation in evidence-based therapeutic practices.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse patient demographics and collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals.
Experience in telehealth services or remote counseling is a plus, with proficiency in using clinical software and digital platforms.
Previous work in a team-oriented healthcare environment, preferably within hospital systems or mental health organizations.
Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and supportive counseling methods relevant to emergency situations.
