Job Description Registered Nurse - Pre-Surgery Clinic Location Atlanta, Georgia
Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule Monday to Friday, 10 AM - 7 PM (No Weekends)
Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide care in the Pre-Surgery Clinic, ensuring a smooth and safe process for patients undergoing outpatient surgery. The role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities - Provide nursing care to patients in the pre-surgery phase.
- Administer medications and manage patient IV access.
- Educate patients and families regarding the surgical process.
- Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and care provided.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a nursing specialty.
- Active RN license in the state of Georgia.
- AHA BLS & ACLS certifications required.
- NIHSS certification preferred.
- Consideration for MedSurg RNs with strong IV skills will be given.
Holiday Expectations MUST work 2 major Holidays of the 3: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day AND 1 Minor Holiday: The Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.
