Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, identifying severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with patients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, preferences, and goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, primarily focusing on modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, informing them about treatment options and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize therapeutic outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a cohesive and comprehensive approach to patient care.

• Remain informed about advances in research and treatment methodologies for mood disorders to enhance clinical practice.

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing various mood disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, psychologist, or licensed psychoanalyst.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT.
